By ignoring the human rights element as usual (funny that the left is usually paying more attention to items like that).
Your troglodyte position only justifies either killing the doctors performing or the women having abortions, it is a moral position that indeed will be at home in locations that stone and perform FGM.
Since you hate that America is protecting women against that, I suggest to you to leave at once to the places were you will be proud to show your ignorance.
It’s politically incorrect, and quite likely racist, for you to insinuate that cultural practices in places like Nigeria are ignorant.
What are you, the Great White Savior? We should just try to understand stoning, etc. and Celebrate! our differences. It makes the world go around. Right?
Most of the terrorists haven’t been convicted of a crime, either. They have a fortunate tendency to blow themselves up first. It doesn’t mean they deserve any sort of consideration, though.
So Updike is now calling other people racist? In this thread, he found it perfectly reasonable to assume that any black people headed across the bridge from New Orleans into Gretna to escape the destruction from Hurricane Katrina must necessarily be going there to loot stores and shoot at firefighters (posts 18, 22, 27, 28, 40, 44, 45).
Out of curiousity, Updike, what’s a receptionist working for an abortionist guilty of and why should she have to die? What are rescue workers responding to a bomb going off guilty of? For that matter, what’s a woman going to Planned Parenthood for treatment of a miscarriage or infertility guilty of? The latter may not be killed, but what is she doing to deserve to be called a “baby killer”?
For the record, I’ve researched Planned Parenthood’s prices for basic gynecological care. They are a good bargain for people without insurance.

I know I should stay out of this trainwreck, but I’m appalled by the possibility that someone might think that a doctor’s *receptionist * should deserve to die! [Snarky remark omitted]
