My U.S. representative is Tom DeLay and my U.S. senators are Phil Gramm and Kay Baily Hutchison. My state senator is Buster Brown. I don’t know my state representative though…

What’s his face and that other guy.
Kidding. It’s Diane Feinstien (or however it’s spelled) and that other guy (or possibly that other gal.)
I have no idea.
Gobear, bless you for living in the same general area I do. I try to keep up with the different politicians, but they’re just not as interesting as George Clooney or Kevin Spacey (just kidding). I do vote regularly and read newspapers and watch CNN several times a week.
Senators:
Dianne Feinstein
Barbara Boxer
Representative:
Adam Schiff
State Senator:
Jack Scott
State Assembly member:
Carol Liu
From January 2003 through January 2005, I will have two state senators representing me. That’s because of reapportionment. Sen. Scott represents an even-numbered district and it’s not up for election until 2004. But my home is now is in an odd-numbered district, which is up for election this year.
So there is an overlap. I don’t know what to do with this largesse.
The great State of Missouri, which elected a dead man in 2000 to be its US Senator. [I say that proudly]
Jean Carnahan ably represents the Show Me state in the US Senate, along with the sometimes volatile Christopher Bond.
I would like to say I am represented in the House, but Todd Akin is such a right wing kook [even kookier than his predescessor.]
State Senator Betty Sims is very progressive. My State Rep. is little Johnny Hickey, who inherited the seat from his daddy.
BTW The President received fewer popular votes than his opponent.
I know that one of my Senators is Hillary Clinton.
But frankly, I don’t care who claims to represent me in the Senate, being a 16-year-old Marxist.
Yes, indeedy do.
Senators:
Ron Wyden and
Gordon Smith
and Representative
Greg Walden
The latter, I must brag, actually knows me :D. Years ago I worked for his dad, a former state representative, and we have been involved with local media ever since. It’s about a big a connection as I have, second only to the SMDB
Sure do.
Ted Kennedy and John Kerry in the senate, John Tierney in the house.
Acting (poorly, at that) Governor: Jane Swift
State senator: Freddie Berry
State rep: Michael Cahill
US Senators:
Richard Shelby ®
Jeff Sessions ®
US Representative:
Bud Cramer (D), District 6
State Rep:
Marcel Black (D)
State Senator:
Bobby Denton (D)
Governor:
Don Sigelman (D)
Lt. Governor:
Steve “Piss Jug” Windom ®
Senators Chuck Schumer (sp?) and Hillary Clinton.
Representative Ben Gillman.
This was easy, given the publicity Clinton’s campaign garnered, and the fact that Schumer is a publicity hound who never met a camera he didn’t like.
As for Gillman – he’s been in Congress for ye-e-e-e-ars.
Yep:
Federal -> Reps Patrick Lehey (D) and Jim Jeffords (I), and Senator Bernie Sanders (I).
Local -> Reps Gaye Symington (D) and Margaret Hummel (D), and Senator… um… dang! Close to all of 'em though.
And let me just say, I love my elected reps to Washington. I voted for every one of 'em.
Well, no matter where you live, I’ll bet you know who one of MY senators is-and Skerri’s too!
(check location)

Sen: Chuck Shumer & Hillary Clinton
Cgr: Charles Rangel
State Sen: Tom Duane
BTW, I like Tom. Egotistical yes, but no more so than the other state guys, who I’ve heard speak, but their names, I don’t know. At least Tom was funny, though perhaps in a Michael Moore kind of way.
I do remember thinking “Do they ever NOT talk about themselves?”
Indeed!
Cliffy, if you do literally live in the District of Columbia, you will be sadly disappointed when you find out who your representative and senators are.
This is why I’m going to maintain my Michigan voter registration as long as humanly possible. On that note:
Senators: Carl Levin (hung out in his office once), and Debbie Stabenow (was a source of mine at my college newspaper when she was just in the House).
Representative: Mike Rogers (at least for the district I’m registered in)
State Senator: Dianne Byrum
State Rep.: Gretchen Whitmer
What do you expect, Dewey, you are what, one of a half dozen republicans in the fine state of NY?
And Oxy, you almost had me completely baited with your “Bloomberg is a smart liberal” proposition.
Senators: Charles Schumer and Hillary Rodham Clinton
Representative: Mike McNulty
State Senator: Hugh “Chuck U” Farley
State Assemblyman: Paul Tonko
Town Supervisor: John Paolino

State Senator: Hugh “Chuck U” Farley
State Assemblyman: Paul Tonko
Town Supervisor: John “Landslide” Paolino*
*Elected by a one-vote margin.
Senator Patrick Lehey is going to be really, really surprised to learn that he’s been demoted to “the other body.”
Senators are Teddy Kennedy and John Kerry.
Kerry is not so bad. The race between he and Weld was a highpoint in MA politics.
I have given up all hope we can ever get rid of Kennedy. He has been a senator since before I was born.
The rep for Lowell is Marty Meehan.
Hopefully most of his other constituents have not forgot what he said about the President’s “cowardice” the day after September 11th.
