538 is optimistic for Fetterman.
MSNBC reports a 14678 difference.
Anyone checked in on Fox ‘News’ to see the mood over there? I removed them from my Youtube TV a while back, and don’t have the energy (or desire) to figure out how to restore it.
Similarly, does anybody know what TFG is doing? I’m thinking that he’s probably on Truth Social, complaining about loser Republicans.
Dem.s have 4 gains on repub., repub. have 5 or 6 gains.
Bitching about Bolduc in NH is the only thing I’ve heard. And pimping some big announcement on November 15… whatever could it be???
In Oregon it would have easily gone to Tina Kotek if it weren’t for supposed independent Betsy Johnson stealing Democratic votes. I say “supposed” because, while her ads claim that she will work with both parties, she consistently refers to the party she used to belong to and work with as the “Democrat Party”. I wonder what she was promised if she successfully spoiled the race?
I don’t know, but ask Phil Knight. He basically funded her campaign.
It’s a big disruption.
Thanks, Jas09 and Ann_Hedonia.
I’m not sure that I follow his logic, but then, he’s never really been logical to begin with.
And somehow, the Democrat has prevailed again as Governor in Kansas.
I swear in many ways that state is far saner than my home state of MO is now, politically.
ABC News is reporting that Prop 3 in Michigan has passed! Midterm election results updates: Dems keep control of Senate with Nevada win - ABC News
(Essentially locking reproductive rights into the state constitution.)
Without looking, I feel safe in saying that he’s claiming credit for something.
Apparently state law or policy doesn’t allow ANY results to be released until the last voter in line has voted.
And furthermore there was an issue where they couldn’t print ballots for 2 hours, so they may be backed up more than usual. (Polls closed over half an hour ago, but everyone in line gets to vote, of course.)
So, when they do come in, they’ll come in pretty fast, I’d expect.
Oregon (BBC results):
Right now, Kotec (D) has a 19,000 vote lead over Drazen (R) with 63% of the vote counted. That’s a fairly decent lead so I’m optimistic.
The unfortunate race is in the 5th Congressional District. The Dem incumbent, who was not very liberal, was primaried from the left. Now Jamie McLeod-Skinner (D) is trailing by 11,000 votes with 60% of the votes in. Not a good place to be. If that holds up, Oregon will go from 4D-1R Congresspersons to 4D-2R. The new 6th district is currently going D.
One of the weirder political trends over the past year is how “purple” states (including KS of all places) have been rather supportive of reproductive rights while not always extending that to voting for candidates that support reproductive rights.
Clearly Americans have rather moderate positions on abortion, at the mean, but are not willing to modify their overall political posture (at least in large numbers) to support that position.

Right now, Kotec (D) has a 19,000 vote lead over Drazen (R) with 63% of the vote counted. That’s a fairly decent lead so I’m optimistic.
Oh, you are awesome! What’s the 4th look like, if you don’t mind my asking? Is it Hoyle or Skarlatos? Oregonlive had them at a “dead heat” last I looked.
Hoyle looking good per NYT, with 69% of the vote in.
