Ok, so the US Mint just finished the 50 states, and I heard they were running a 5-coin series on US Territories. And then they’re announcing a 5-coin series on US landmarks? Whoa! When is/was the Territitories suppose to end? And. when are the US landmarks suppose to end?
There were 6 coins for DC and the territories. These were all released last year. The territories were Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
The landmarks series is called America the Beautiful Quarters™ and is set for 56 different quarters, just like the the states series ended up being. Trademarked and all. When will it end? Probably never, since collectors basically pay for the mint to keep running.
The Statue of Liberty was selected for New Jersey and not New York. This is going to be controversial.

Jinx, I would like to remind you, once again, of General Questions Rules:
You have been asked repeatedly not to ask such easily researched questions in GQ. The second post contains a link you could have very easily found with a very simple Google search. Samclem closed another one of your threads yesterday. Unless you start showing some minimal ability to use Wikipedia and Google, you are likely to find your threads being closed.
My apologies to those who have responded to this thread and who might be interested in continuing the discussion. I would suggest that if you want to talk about the US Mint’s programs, that you start a thread in MPSIMS or IMHO.
