USA Election Watch 2026

Hinojosa up 18 points in TX.

I think that flushing sound I hear might be all those millions of dollars he spent on the GOP going down the toilet.

Hagerty (R) retains TN.

Texas is going crazy. The votes are outstanding in the big urban centres and Talarico is leading by a lot in same day voting.

NY state Republican candidate for Governor lost his home district by 9.

Hochul easily won reelection as Governor for New York.

Oiga!

OH is tightening. 68% in, Brown up 1.9%.

I’m at the hospital with my mom (not where I wanted to be for Super Bowl Tuesday). I see Abdul is ahead by about 10 with about 18% reporting. Can someone give me an idea of what they’re saying about this race? Are the projections still looking good for him?

Not a rocket to Mars? Wimp!

We have a weekly protest of Trump and ilk here in little Black Mountain NC every Monday. Anywhere from 50 to 100 folks standing on the street corner holding our signs. The response from passers-by has been more and more positive over the last few months, and the air this past Monday was absolutely electric. Can’t wait for our celebration next week.

It looks like most of the votes that haven’t been counted yet are in the big cities, though, so I’d expect more blue votes soon.

If only Mitch McConnell were alive to see this.

He’s only mostly dead.

Last I saw Toledo was barely counted.

Andrews wins SC! Second flip.

Sending you and your mom best wishes.

The NYT “needle” has been all over it, all night. They have Abdul at an 81% chance to win, considering the current count, and the votes left to tally.

With 26.7% in Ellman’s still leading, 54.3 to 45.7. Do I dare to hope?

I’ve been watching the incredibly low numbers for Republicans everywhere. No doubt whatsoever in my mind that millions of Republicans are simply staying home. They aren’t switching parties; they’re just furious and disgusted at the current scene.

Keep in mind Trump won SC by double digits.

This is a huge flip.

Democrats are now +5 in the House. They need +3 for a majority, so if this holds, things are looking good.
