A real stunner. A very welcome one!
I’d settle for 67.
Kornacki on NBC has been using Oakland County as a bellweather— El-Sayed is currently up in Oakland by a small percentage over what Harris won Oakland County by. But she narrowly lost Michigan, so Kornacki is calling it a thin margin right now. Wayne County only has about 6% reporting, and that will tell a story when the Wayne vote comes in.
One county in the U.P. That was ruby red for trump is going El-Sayed right now, so that’s an interesting oddity.
Msnow is calling the house for dem!
Lol
. I’m sure he’ll stay hidden out there in Space-X, butt hurt that his district will again be represented by a Democrat (he lives in the same district I do, TX-34), and that his new Senator and governor are likely going to be Democratic as well.
ETA: And looking at how the House races are going, it seems to me that the gerrymandering ended up screwing the Republicans. They would have probably done better with the old districts.
Andrews wins SC! Second flip.
Wait, did Lindsay Graham’s sister just lose?
Yep.
Yup. ![]()
Indeed. The Grahame era is over.
Indeed.
With full Trump support in a very Red state.
CNN projects Democrats win control of the House.
Our Australian commentator, while pointing to the scores, called the race a right “shellacking”.

Speaking of which, how are candidates directly endorsed and aided by Trump doing, generally?
I hope there are TV sets in hell.
Damn! I blink and its over.
I was playing a computer game and then remembered “Oh yeah it’s election night I should check out the Times needle and see how how things are going.”
Turns out both the house and senate are pinged to the like a volt meter plugged into the hoover dam. I didn’t even get the gleeful anticipation as the slowly edges.
Not that I’m complaining mind you. Get you your boards everybody surfs up and how!
Beyond shellacking.
I’m seeing cracks of light in this dark nauseating time.
ME at 16%, Johnson up by 2.
Damn, too close.
