Several posts follow of Quicksilver being confused and Okrahoma explaining the joke. OK, fine. Because maybe that joke needed explaining. And he’s a joker! Because he’s a disruptor, you guys, he likes disruptors!
Am I being unfair? I like okra (the vegetable). I’ve made dumb jokes in threads before. I know some OK people who’ve lived in Oklahoma. But it’s this constant nonsense from him, and honestly, I think he’s bled into octopus in my mind.
But this guy drives me up the wall, especially on the back of threads with octopus and Hurricane Ditka playing their “Who sez?” games. The Lennon crack on its own wasn’t that stupid. He could be like a poor man’s elucidator, but he laughs at his own jokes. If it weren’t for the other right-wingers trying so hard to constantly challenge our liberal assumptions (or whatever they think they’re doing), he’d just be one drunk and/or child on the internet.
But “I like disruptors”? No, see, I know jerks who say that kind of nonsense, of a few kinds—fascist fools, ignorant adolescents, but also imperialists exporting chaos abroad.
I didn’t care enough to start a bunch of links last night. It was just two straws on the pile, enough to hurt. And there wasn’t an unlocked thread devoted to his nonsense, so I started one.
