The only other Doper whose username begins with ‘rtf’ is rtftfwd, who apparently has never posted.
I’d regard Rufus T. Firefly as the Doper with the closest username to mine, though. He was briefly active as a poster during the fall of 2003, and hasn’t been heard from since. Rumors that we merged into a single poster are completely unfounded.

I do not know how to determine their status and post count but I have seen Drum God posting of late. I wonder if Drumgoddess is more powerful than Drum God.
There is an Alpine, which is enipla backwards. Originally, it’s the username that I wanted.
What’s really weird though is other coincidences. We both live in small resort towns in the Colorado Mountains. And we both have the same somewhat obscure job working for County Government.
The Devil’s Whisky Bottle is my closest match (heh), but he/she has never posted.
I don’t see why purging all the old names of non-posters would be bad. You might get some complaints from people who log on to search, if that is that is still the rule.
I recognize my own user name, Swampwolf and swampy. swampy is the nickname a bunch of poster’s have given me so I’m not sure if “swampy” is another poster or me.
There’s no one else that starts with “ii” that I could see. That’s one of the reasons I picked this username- originally back in the 90s with AOL… I wanted an email address unlike anyone else’s.
