I just happened across www.zazzle.com and think it is a great idea. But then again, the devil is always in the details. An artist friend has kicked around selling some of his art as greeting cards, but has always been intimidated by the whole business aspect of doing so. Anybody have any experience with zazzle?
I got a tshirt design there. Haven’t had any takers…Commission is a decent but small percentage. There’s no hassle and it can’t hurt. You just sign up and if it sells they send you a check.
No, I haven’t actually ordered one. I can’t really afford to, that’s why I’m selling them lol! I’ve come up with a couple other designs that would probably sell, but they evidently didn’t pass their decency standards and were rejected.
I would be interested to know thew quality of the shirts as well. It is hard to design a really good image with enough resolution, because of the way they size the images with their proprietary, online, shirt making program.
This is the Zazzle deal…
