Does anyone here have any recommendation of what brand v neck t shirt to buy? I’m looking for plain white t shirts and would like it for either going outside as in a v neck white t shirt and going to sleep with it as these t shirts are very comfortable.
The best ones i bought is from banana republic but these v neck t shirts cost around $25 each. Thats pretty expensive for a v neck but i liked these shirts because the sizing of it fits me very well. I wear a small from banana republic.
I have bought lot of these t shirts mostly crewnecks from century 21 and other similar places that has hanes, fruit of the loom like those in a 3 or 5 pack etc but the issue with these are they are very long length wise. Thus even though it isn’t baggy, its really long in length. I know many shirts ppl who are taller don’t like it b/c certain shirts are way too long.
Does anyone have a suggestion to what brand is good for these v neck shirts? I personally dont mind if its a crewneck t shirt when i go to sleep etc but for outside i prefer v neck.
I just buy Hanes. It’s usually 6 shirts for $15 to $20.
But do those fit you well as in length? I bought the small one from hanes and even though its fits okay though a bit too, the length is way too long.
Penney’s house brand, Stafford. Look for the heavy fabric ones.
Whatever brand Costco carries.
Sign up for banana republic’s emails. You’ll get numerous sale notices from them. I picked up some of those t shirts a couple weeks ago for less than $10 a shirt.
I don’t understand how a T-shirt can be too long.
Pauly01’s worried that no one will see his navel ring.
The Hanes X-Temp undershirts are pretty spiffy- better than plain cotton as far as temp and dampness control are concerned.
I’d assume they sell them in a v-neck configuration, but I dont’ know for sure (I wear crew-neck undershirts)
They’re sold at Wal-Mart and on Amazon for sure, and probably elsewhere as well.
If they are sold as undershirts, they’ll probably be a bit longer because people generally want to tuck them in, and a longer shirt means it comes untucked less easily.
If they’re sold as casual wear, they might be shorter because they are designed to be worn untucked. If you plan to wear a shirt untucked, it’s definitely an issue if it’s too long IMO.
I buy the Calvin Klein brand at TJ Maxx.
Heavier construction, v-neck keeps it’s shape, comfortable. I think they’re around $20 for a 3 pack at TJ Maxx or Marshalls.
That makes sense. I’d still wear the cheap ones to sleep in though. The heavier shirts not intended simply as underwear are probably hard to find with a V neck. I have a lot of pocket Ts in different colors, but I don’t recall seeing those in a V neck. And I rarely find a T shirt to be too long for my body, the non-underwear versions are usually too short for me.
Banana Republic is having a sale (online too) today. I don’t know which shirt you specifically want, but there is a v-neck shirt for 50% off. (normally 19.50, so I don’t know if this is the one you like). I think other stuff in the store is a 40% off so even if it isn’t the right one, if you find the right one you should get 40% off.
I love the ones from Nordstom. They last darn near forever, don’t shrink, and don’t get all wrinkly.
How tall is everyone here by the way?
The thing is im a bit below average height so many of these shirts i buy for v neck always seem to be long. I wear small for t shirts.
I do have banana republic v neck t shirts… i think they look good in terms of length… however… they are still pretty loose though.
Anyone have recommendation for v neck t shirts for wearing under a dress shirt?
As for hanes… theres no many different types. Slim fit, regular fit etc. However there are some v necks where the V is so low… that it doesnt look good to wear.
