Hanes Classic T-shirts

These are the shirts without the so-called irritating label in back.

Well, I don’t give a crap about the labellessness. My beef is how the collar looks.

With my other, non-Hanes T-shirts the front collar describes an even, easy-on-the-eyes semicircle. The damn Hanes collars do not. it is distorted, warped, ugly. It’s as if the the collar is made of cheap crap that cannot maintain its original shape.

Have you noticed this?

Not buying these pieces of shit no mo’.

Yes! The lack of tag is less than helpful, but the droopy, distorted, warpy collar is really unattractive and frustrating. These shirts aren’t worth anything unless they’re taken straight out of the dryer. Of course, I have about twenty of them.

Marks and Spencer Egyptian cotton undershirts (vests), in the green Saint Michael box. Nothing better.

Buy the Vee necks. Then no one but you sees the collar.

American Apparel 50/50. At $15 each, they’re pretty pricey, but at least they’re made in the USA, are lightweight, and are relatively durable.

I really wish AA made polo shirts in 50/50 jersey. Their all-cotton ones fade and distort too damn fast.

I haven’t noticed that with mine. But then, I only wear them for nightshirts anyway.
