Looks like another old franchise is having the dust shaken off and being re-done. This time it is V.
The original mini-series that appeared in the 80’s captured my attention as a teenager of that time and I still have very fond memories of the show. I’m excited to see this!

Was the original V the show where the aliens’ skin looked like Sugar Smacks cereal? That’s about all I can remember of it, and that I’m not even sure of.

As for a modern V, how will the Visitors hide their true intentions without Jane Badler’s giant hairdo for concealment?
I’m waiting to see what their explanation for looking exactly like humans is. Just to be clear I’m talking about how the Visitors explain this to the people of Earth. In the original miniseries they just claimed it was a coincidence. This is a reimagining like BSG, not a remake, right? It seems they’re not even reusing character names so I wonder how much of the basic premise will translate. Is this going to be like Earth: Final Conflict where it’s all just a big conspiracy, or will it progress to a more obvious occupation (like in the 2nd miniseries). I’m really worried about how having this be an opened ended series on network TV as opposed to say another miniseries.
