Stories don’t get a lot warm and fuzzier than this. Rescued critters finding love and giving same to those whose lives are mending. 
I saw a story on something like this on the news the other night. Only it was on dogs and prisoners. Good work alla round, anyway. Pets need love, and so do the prisoners. Everybody wins.
