I ran across the theme to “The High Chapparal” on youtube, and it’s reminding me of a different song, a song I think was also the theme to a TV show, but I can’t quite put my finger on it. It’s really just the beginning, with those staccato notes that’s reminding me.

Does it put anyone else in mind of another theme song?

Sounds to me a bit like Elmer Bernstein’s theme to The Magnificent Seven.
