Van Gogh Espresso Vodka

I was browsing around one of my favorite liquor stores here in town, and found a “gift pack” that contained: one bottle of Van Gogh (brand) Espresso Vodka, one bottle of Van Gogh Double Espresso Vodka and two espresso cups with reproductions of Van Gogh’s Starry Night on them. This gift pack was $20.00, and I thought the espresso mugs all by themselves were probably worth $10.00, so I bought it.

Oh, my! The Double Espresso vodka, on the rocks, with a splash of Half and Half, is divine! And it’s “double caffeinated” (I don’t understand what that means in context; I mean, vodka doesn’t normally have any caffeine, so “double” the caffeine in traditional vodka would still be zero caffeine. . .). But I’m not so concerned about the caffeine, more about the flavor. Yum!
If you’re a coffee lover like me, and you drink vodka, I strongly suggest the next time you’re in the liquor store, you look for this stuff!

Yeah, my husband and I always keep a bottle around. We used it the other night to make frozen White Russians using coffee-flavored ice cream and whole milk. Of course we amped it up with a couple extra shots of Absolut 100. Yummy!

Try a shot of the espresso vodka and Bailey’s Irish Cream in a pint of Guinness.

Ooooh, now I need some Guiness!

My step-brother drives a limo. Once he gave me what he had stocked for a bachelorette party.

Strawberry-flavored tequila in shot glasses made out of chocolate.

Oh my.

Yeah, I’ve seen those shot glasses made out of chocolate. My big problem with them is that if I had them, I’d re-gain about half of the 150lbs I’ve lost!
It’s too easy to picture myself downing the Espresso Vodka or a combo of 99 Bananas (99 Proof banana flavored Schnapp’s) and Bailey’s out of them, then eating the shot glass!
