I’m heading to Texas at the end of March to (at last) move in with Zyada ( 
), so I think I need one last meeting with all the Dopers in the area.
I was thinking of making a day of it on Saturday March 20, maybe lunch at Lonsdale Quay, cruise around there for the afternoon, and dinner wherever.
Anybody interested? Any suggestions?

Since Larry showed up, I recall him saying in another thread that if he gets drunk enough, he’ll sing the complete works of Cab Calloway. I promised then, and promise again, that if he’s going to sing, his drinks are on me.
Ha! In the interest of encouraging other people to show up, I promise not to sing.
(Besides, if I cadged drinks off you all night and then sang Cab Calloway, I’d never shake the nickname of “Muddy the Moocher.”)

Welcome aboard, Ms Macphisto! Watch out for meeting Dopers - it can be really disruptive, having to move and all.
Actually, I’m already moving the week before the Dopefest, but just from Vancouver to White Rock. And at the rate this thread is going, I should be safe at this meeting at least. Of course, having said that, some random Doper from thousands of kilometres away is probably suddenly going to realise “Hey, I’ll be in Vancouver that day!”

Checked the Awana calendar a few hours ago. March 20 is indeed Spring Break time. So I shall come, if you’ll have me. Actually, not sure you can stop me… but that’s another story entirely.
My computer monitor decided to die on me, so I’ll be assiduously checking this thread from libraries and whatnot from now on. If there are any urgent last-minute plans (as happens with my brother quite frequently), let me know by some other means than electronic. Otherwise, I’ll assume that the last thing I saw is the status quo.
And since Larry never really saw me go hyper that time in the summer, I just might have some of that going… not sure yet.

HAHAHAHA… considering that my own sister thinks that seeing me on alcohol is a bad thing, Larry might just have to rethink that in a couple weeks’ time.
(never mind what happens when you mix alcohol and caffeine together and give it to me… apparently, I get TOO hyper on that combination!)
