Vanity Search Question

It appears to me, that a vanity search will only pick up my name if it was typed into someone’s post, and not if it appears in a “reply with quote” box.

Is this correct? Didn’t the search function pick those up at one point? Why does it not do that now? Can we change that?

I seem to recall we’ve discussed this before, but yeah, you’re right. Short version: Used to work. Doesn’t work now. And like the failure of a duck’s quack to echo, nobody knows why.
