You know that male rape been going on for at least (checking the documents) a couple of thousand years? That is a guy forcing his dick into another guy’s ass, or several guys taking turns on some guy’s ass…? You can read about it in the Norse sagas, for instance (it’s called erki). Not much of lubricant going on there necessarily and no documented pleasure on behalf of the man with the ass. Didn’t stop anybody on the ships or elsewhere, no vikings complaining about the friction.
(I find it fascinating how males always are discussing rape as it was something abstract like a video game, often with a nerdish smile on their faces and an uncanny interest in details; but when there are in fact male rapists [a couple or several men attacking men in parks etc], same men goes terrible pale, quiet and are terrified to walk home alone. Yes, like little school girls. Yep, I’ve seen it.)
The fact that women have this special lubrication - a reflex of sorts - and men doesn’t (AFAIK), doesn’t really matter, at all, does it?
I believe we need to throw a few gay rapists out there, to get the guys to understand what rape is. Because as long as the man nerd think he’s safe, he will never understand, and will discuss this lubrication this endlessly, like this VC guy.
However, when he realize the reality of rape, he aint gonna talk lubrication this or that. He’ll be terrified how his ass react; perhaps he gets… aroused.
So what you’re saying, basically, is that we need another 9/11, to get all the Americans to rally 'round the flag, and silence those pesky unpatriotics? :dubious:
I don’t think he was saying we need to rape these guys to make them understand what rape is, just that using extant examples of man-on-man rape would help illustrate the universal nature of this problem.
Well, I hope that’s what he meant, but what he wrote looks like he hopes more male rapes will occur, just to deflate what he perceives as a smugness on the part of his opponents in this debate.
I’d love to discuss subtext in Xena, Warrior Princess. (Even with someone who’s a bit slow at catching on–the show ended in 2001.)
But I think the title’s tacky. (Speaking as someone who was chastised for using a word that some of Miami’s professional Cuban “exiles” find distasteful.)
You can pit VCO3 for a lot of things, you can even pit him for not being Valteron, but I think it is going a bit far to pit VCO3 for the title of someone else’s thread.
I dunno about that. I’m a lesbian and I’m not comfortable with the words “fag” and “dyke” and would never refer to anyone by those pejoratives, even if I arguably get a pass.
Rape exists, it happens all the time, and lubrication has nothing to do with it. And it doesn’t just happen to girls, either. Does that mean boys can’t be raped? Just because they can’t get lubricated?
Dude, what the fuck? He did “shut up”. He made one more post in this thread after that, to agree with another poster’s clarification of his intent. How much more up can he shut?
And many of my gay friends use the word with abandon in our social circle, without causing the least bit of offense. So I can see how this could go both ways.
Anyone who dismisses a violent sexual attack, like rape, needs to shut the fuck up. And needs to get told how stupid and asinine their idiotic premise is in questioning whether it exists.
I mean, for fuck’s sake - all it takes is 5 minutes of unpolluted thought to figure this one out. This is trolling of the lowest order, and he only said anything to defend himself and pretend innocence.
(ObligDisclaimer: not male, and have never been raped.) Not that it matters to the central point of your post, but it’s my understanding that males who are raped are capable of involuntary sexual response, up to and including ejaculation, just like a female. Through pressure on the prostate if nothing else.
