Hello all. As many of you probably know, there’s a nation-wide candle-lighting ceremony thing going on tonight at 7:00 to show solidarity with all of the folks affected by the current tragedy.
I am up in Burlington VT, and I’m trying to get a bunch of folks together to gather in front of the UVM library at that time to sing songs, read poetry, share stories, or whatever else anyone may want to do. I invite you all to please come, bring any instruments you may have, any songs you’d want to sing (with words so all can join in) and any poems/stories/readings you might want to share. This is intended in the spirit of hope and peace. I have yet to hear back from anyone, so I don’t know if this is going to happen, but if you want to particpate, please contact me by 6:00 (or just show up in front of the library at 7, although if I don’t hear from anybody I won’t be there).
