I think the Eddie Munster-looking kid was actually named Horshack, a wry reference to the character on “Welcome Back Kotter.” You kids may be too young to remember that.
I think the RA was playing faux creepy, as kind of a gag on the Prison Experiment. I didn’t see it as serious insight into him being a weirdo. Then again, with this show…

Do we even know that there is a rapist?
Stay with me here, we know girls are being roofied and they wake up bald, but has any evidence of sexual assult been presented?
I don’t think it’s the pot-smoking sorority den mom, but it did occur to me while watching the episode that the rapist could be a woman with a strap on. Or not strapped on.
If so, my early hunch is on the frat-hating woman who gives rides to drunk girls.
I totally love how Logan and Wallace each figured out how to use the personalities of their “weak links” to play the game, and I especially love that Wallace came out on top.
The main reason they wouldn’t choose her would be that they already did the “homosexual rapist” story with Beaver. Granted, Beaver raped a girl instead of a boy, but they don’t want to portray all homosexual folks as rapist/psychos.
You think of Beaver as a homosexual rapist? I don’t know - I’d be wary of saying he’s homosexual just because he was molested by a member of his own gender. That story was more about the cycle of abuse than the gender of the players.
I tend to think Beaver’s performance issues with Mac were a result of being so pathologically screwed up, not that he didn’t like girls. Sure, he’s meek enough socially that if he was gay, it’d probably be a while before he was ready to come out (if he wasn’t a crazy mass-murderer, that is), so we can’t say for sure, but sexual abuse != gayness.

I also don’t think Beaver was gay. I think that if anything, Beaver’s performance issues with Mac were related to him not thinking of sex as something you do with people you like. Why would he? His only sexual experiences had been coercive and humiliating, whether he was the victim or the predator. That boy was a mess.
I’m still trying to figure out why the “prisoners” went back. I know that the experiment was supposed to be for 48 hours, but that was meant as a maximum, not a minimum. Limits were placed on how the information could be obtained, but NOT on how it could be withheld. You escaped, people! You win!
