While I’ll certainly concede that point, people who have successful military careers tend not to have had civilian murder charges brought against them. All I know about military justice I learned from CBS’ old show “JAG”, but the military has its own punishments even when the person beats the rap in civilian court, doesn’t it?
In real life, not that many people are accused of murder. I suspect the sample size is pretty small.
IIRC, Logan mentions talking to JAG at one point. I think it’s why he came to the airport in uniform. Well, he was in uniform for the meeting; he was at the airport to see her reaction…
Murder, thankfully is an uncommon crime among military officers. One suspects that other civilian crimes (Assaults, Domestic Violence, Driving Under Influence etc) are more common, and the miscreant must deal with military disciplinary action even if he/she evades civil criminal law. IMHO.
But as I said, all I know about military justice I learned while really watching the lovely actress Catherine Bell on “JAG.”
