Very obscure end of the world movie.

This is a long shot, but I’m trying to find the name of a movie about the end of the world that came out around 10-20 years ago. I only remember reading reviews about it, and all I remember is that it focused more on how the people were dealing with imminent disaster rather than the disaster itself. The disaster was apparently never fully explained, but one sign was that night didn’t fall. It was a low budget indie-film, and I think it got mixed reviews. I have no Idea why I’m thinking about it after so many years, but I remember I was curious to see it but never got around to it.

Thanks in advance if you can help. I know I’m not giving you all much.

Not quite 10 years ago, but is it Last Night (1998)? I’ve never seen it, but your description brought to mind James Berardinelli’s review, which I remembered reading.

Holy Shit, that’s right! Thanks Loopus, I didn’t think I’d ever find what that movie was.

It’s not available on Netflix yet, but I’ve put it on “save.”

Jeez, that was fast.

Heh. You’re just lucky that I read so many movie reviews.

And that World of Warcraft is down, leading to my hanging around here.
