If MTV stands for music television (right?), what does VH1 stand for? I used to know, but I forgot. Is video hits 1st? I have been wondering this for a while. Thanks.

At least VH1 plays music. All I ever see when I pass MTV anymore is “Real World, Road Rules” or that sex advice show.
