Which, imho supports the position that some animals are sentient. Sentient in ways that society can be very resistant to acknowledging.
I’ve seen that before and it still brings tears to my eyes. However, I had heard that the dog died so I’m not sure which is true. From the looks of it, the chances of the dog actually surviving are pretty slim and I’m thinking maybe they threw that in for a ‘feel good’ ending.
