I have an LCD t.v. in the car for the kids now. They are teenagers. Let’s say it’s nighttime, and a person in any other car nearby can see into the car and can clearly see whatever is playing on the monitor. It’s not a huge image, but one can see.
Let’s say the kids put on Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. There are a few scenes of topless women in this film. Am I violating a law by allowing them to watch a movie on this in-car system that might include the more mainstream nudity? ( i.e., no penetration but frontal nudity from both genders, etc. ).
If someone driving by with their impressionable wee bairn in the car sees the aforementioned scenes, can they call the police? Could I be in trouble as a result? The obvious extreme case is me showing hardcore porn on the monitors at nighttime- but I wouldn’t do that. I could, however, easily see a video with serious gore, blood, or nudity being run on a long trip.
Doper Lawyer types, what is my exposure? (pun intended of course… )
