View Bosda's Burg

Here is a LINK to a webcam overlooking my town square.

Shows our 19th Century Courthouse, that used to be Tennessee’s State Capitol Building.

A little history, & a few links beneath. And a link to a city map.

Controls are self-explanitory.

Enjoy.

Sheesh…what’s up with that white minivan constantly blocking the interection on the left? It’s like he just keeps driving around the block, making the same boneheaded move over and over and over again…

Shots of where I used to work, until a year ago:

Damn!

You used to work in the same town I live in, except yours was in [del]Massus[/del]…[del]Massasss[/del]…[del]Madhassus[/del]…up in goddam Yankeeland!

What are the wires hanging from the clock tower? Are they antannae?

Naw…leftover Xmas lights. They’ll have em down on the first calm, dry day.

Been windy & wet since the New Year, basically.

Webcams from my town (assuming one of the Toronto cameras is selected).

That TV weather graphic is somewhat distracting, Bosda.

I live in Hometown, USA, according to Look Magazine, who twice named Glens Falls, NY- Hometown, USA.

It’s also where Cooper’s Cave is located. The setting for “The Last of the Mohicans”.

Santa Rosa’s weathercam. Pretty boring. I live pretty much at the base of the ‘hill’ in that image, Taylor Mountain. This view is looking south down one of the main thoroughfares downtown, Mendocino Ave.

There are better images of the town here. Hitchcock fans might recognize the Empire Building in Old Courthouse Square (also seen from a distance in the weathercam) and the train station (now a visitor center) in Railroad Square from Shadow of a Doubt.

Just uncheck the little box, & it will go away.

Wow! It looks exactly like it did when I was there a week ago! Amazing!

When is lightning due to strike the clock? I’ll get the Delorean ready …

Seems it’s a bit warmer where you line. Webcam looking on to my town’s marketplace - it’s below freezing and everybody is snug at home. (The guy on the lower left is Neptune and of bronze, he has to stay put)

Here’s where I live. Well, the downtown area anyway. Not too remarkable except that one of those buildings was used in the filming of that great cinema classic Steel starring Lee Majors. Unfortunately a stuntman was killed during filming.
