While cruising through the MPSIMS forum to see if I’d missed anything important in the last 5 minutes, I saw matt_mcl’s “Delicious Irony!” thread and noticed it had a huge number of views (3070) and only 60 posts. That came out to 51.17 views per post, and I honestly don’t remember ever seeing anything that high around here. I’ve occasionally seen stuff in the low 40s, more often in the 20s, but that 51 takes the cake.
I mean, what does that say about what it takes to pique our interests? Sex? Nope. Politics? Nope. Religion? Nope. It’s how much most of us hate Jehovah’s Witnesses. Damn, that’s scary!
So has anyone else seen a thread with this high of a ratio? And what’s it about? Let’s get a Top Five List of What Gets Dopers’ Attention.
