I thought I should show you some snow-pictures
from Stockholm, Sweden, where I live.
It’s from lunch when I went to my parents
that lives close and the last ones is in the afternoon,
when I went home.

How beautiful!! I love winter picures. I took some really nice ones a few years ago when we had this awful ice/snow storm. Everything was completely covered and it was awesome!

I remember getting caught in a huge blizzard in the late '80s (no, it was NOT The Blizzard of 1888!). I couldn’t get back to New Jersey, so I walked from my office on the Upper East Side to a friend’s in the Village. Wonderful—just at twilight, no cars on the street, people building snowmen on Broadway, laughing, actually TALKING to one another. I’ve never seen NY look prettier.
. . . Of course, within a day or two, it was all charcoal-gray slush and ice . . .
