I have made no assumptions about Virgo’s behavior. Nor did I bring up his religion. He did, in his username, if you’ll recall. I’m not judging him on that basis, and think you’ll find I’m not one of the people telling him he’s not a witch or shouldn’t be calling himself one.
You’re right. As I’ve said, oh, at least a couple of times now, I don’t know what being a Witch means to him, or if using hurtful language . That’s why I asked.

I’m the one who started all the hooplah about him not calling himself a Witch. For that, I apologize. I didn’t mean to start this little tizzy in here. I was operating under the assumption that for the most part a great majority of Witches operate under a similar, general, basic way of life. They may worship different dieties, some may not be Wiccan, but the most basic, fundemental way of living by doing harm unto none is in my opinion, followed by most. I wasn’t expecting a barrage of nitpicking about how each and every individual Witch may have a slightly different interpretation or whatnot. I believe that goes without saying.
Andros was making no assumptions, as I was, but simply asking Virgo for clarification. I think you may have mixed him up with me.

Seriously, let’s give VirgoWitch the benefit of the doubt for a bit longer – I find his posts egregiously insulting to a lot of people I like, including yourself, Esprix. But he’s welcome to post the rationale for the various things he’s said, and stand up for his opinions, giving reasons why he holds them.
If, of course, he chooses to continue to do drive-by insults, we would be justified in alerting a moderator to someone pursuing trollery. (Again I stress that I’m not making that accusation, just observing the proper course in a hypothetical situation, hence the “if” at the beginning of that sentence. And if he chooses that option, I will not post my opinion but e-mail a mod. or report the post.)
How long does your benefit of the doubt stretch, Poly? I guess I’m just getting cranky in my old age, but he’s gone way past three strikes to me.

If this refers to my comments on illegitimate children, every other Witch I know feels the same way. I don’t think it is specifically a Witch value, it comes from the way people were raised, from family tradition.
