Vista users. Phantom floppy drive??

I just turned my computer on and it immediately installed drivers for my new invisible floppy drive which I didn’t just buy and didn’t install in my computer.

It would be helpful if I could see it, so I’d know where to put the floppies.
Has this happened to anyone else? My computer’s been acting odd recently. I think it’s time for a fresh install.

I’ve been using Vista for a little over a year now and haven’t had any phantom floppy drives. It does insist, however, on reinstalling my HP printer every time it gets disconnected. <sigh>
