In return, I will clarify why you are annoying me to death: you weren’t talking about how “the vast majority” of Americans had not come out to demonstrate. You continually use the word “Americans” when you should be saying “some Americans” or even “the majority of Americans.” I will grant you that too many Americans are politically apathetic. However, you keep talking about “Americans” like we are some gigantic, monolithic herd of sheep. We are not.

I, personally, get really pissed off when people equate me and my friends and loved ones with George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld, just as you would probably get pissed off at people who talk about “Arab terrorists” as if all Arabs are terrorists, or that Arab = Muslim = fundamentalist wacko.

I don’t feel any call to cure people from their own intellectual laziness. There are a few around here (like among others the one who shows some weird obsession to refer to me as “our Saudi” with all the underlying bigotry included) but over all such people are an exception on this website.
So no, sorry, but I don’t care if people talk about “Arabs” as if we are all terrorists or about “Arab=Muslim=fundamentalist wacko”.
What I care about is that there are indeed “Arabs” who clearly follow a lunatical call to become terrorists and that there are indeed Muslims, Arab and other, who are clearly fundamentalist wackos. I even know quite a few of them and they don’t particularly like me, since they never could win any debate with me.

Sometimes the fact that the question is worded differently is very, very important. You should be able to grasp that regardless of your English writing abilities, if you’d only pay attention. It doesn’t take perfect English grammar to get a clue.

Re-read your post 113 and tell me why you would possibly have a claim that what you say there isn’t the same issue as I questioned about.
