Is it my imagination or does that hump/dome in the crater look bigger than in the hall of fame pictures?
It seems to be bigger now than the pic I have from a few days ago.
And is it my imagination, or was there a large patch of snow on the right slope a day or two ago that isn’t there anymore?
I’m also seeing water in the front center creekbed that I don’t think was there before.
I searched Google News, the dome is indeed growing

I can’t believe I’m sitting here looking at a mountain, albeit a volcanic one, on a webcam…
It looks like just steam at the moment.
All the activity has been happening while I’m at school! I mean, this steam stuff is nice and all, but I missed the cool ash clouds!
Did anyone save some volcano cam images during the events? I know the USGS said they’d have them up eventually, but patience is not one of my virtues.
Apologies for no response of late. Kinda busy right now, even after hours. Got lotsa inside scoop info (the media usually finds out about 24-36 hours later anyway).
It’s a wild ride right now. More later tonight (west coast time).
