I’ve had the tablet for a couple of years and I really like it, and have often used it. I installed it, if I remember correctly, without incident. It required no tweaking.
Santa brought me a Mini Mac, joy of joys. Every little thing about it is an improvement and I am greatly enjoying it. Not only that I am slowly migrating from PhotoDeluxe to Photoshop Elements, nervously and without joy, but I’m doing it. Got the big fat book and everything.
Thing is, my tablet is running like it’s in mud. So slow it’s painful and annoying to use.
I’ve been bashing about for over an hour, I just can’t seem to recall how I set it up the first time.
When I use my spotlight tool, it says, for path, ‘/’ - colour me highly confused!
Do you have a wacom tablet? What are the settings? Where are the damn settings?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I promise, in return, to beseech all the Gods that be to shower you with life’s finest blessings.
Settings would be in Start Menu > Tablet > Pen Tablet Properties. If it’s not there check the Control Panel. It should be there. By “running in mud” do you mean it’s lagging? Make sure the screen settings are correct and if you can’t fix it reinstall. Sometimes things just don’t work right.
Go to Applications > Wacom > Wacom Tablet. This will bring up the contol panel to set speed, screen mapping, buttons and tools etc, globally and within specific applications like Photoshop.
Dumb question, but have you installed the Wacom driver for OS X? I believe the Mac will automatically recognize the tablet, but you want the real drivers from wacom.com
