Yeah, McFarlane toys are very cool looking, but, as you say, somewhat problematic…
But actually, I was referring to the things like the new 5 inch Power Rangers that have like 3 ball-joint articulation per limb. They can actually (with some patience) be made to stand on one foot in a dramatic karate-kick pose. Why, oh why did they not have those when I was a kid?

Yes, but the Autobots are cars and trucks again! But the Decepticons are still called Predicons and are still bugs and sharks. The best of both worlds, i guess, but i haven’t seen the new cartoon yet.

Oddly enough, I get the same feeling when I walk through an antique shop. All the clever toys I wish were still being made. Mechanical trick toys are so much more fascinating than electronic ones.
