Walt Disney frozen in time?

I did a half-assed search in archives/on net. Didn’t see anything. Anybody ever hear Walt Disney was cryogenetic-ly frozen when he died?

Snopes is your friend. Check out the link, then spend some time on Snopes, you’ll love it, and find it an invaluable resource. Enjoy!

In many states, death certificates are a matter of public record, and most death certificates issued since the turn of the century. In California, walk up to the window at the state Public Records department, pay $10, and in a few minutes you will have a copy of Walt Disney’s death certificate, which states conclusively that he was cremated, not cryogenically frozen.

Here is his grave, BTW.

See, that’s what I love about this board. Snappy answers! Thanks a bunch, people!

Walt Disney was cremated and his ashes were buried in an unmarked grave at Forest Lawn.

It’s really too bad that he didn’t get cryogenically suspended. It would give a whole new meaning to “Disney on Ice”.

you came to the right place, too:
