Want Obamacare Care? Call 1-800-F1U-CKYO

Can’t make something this good up. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: Yet another indication how poorly this Obamacare mess was planned. Last I heard their web site is still crashing too. I hope their insurance is better than their tech planning and support.

It nearly spells out a swear? Who gives a crap?

Of course it’s crashing. If there was enough server capacity to handle the expected first day rush, there would have been hysterical screeching about the added expense.

Total non-story, unless you’re an easily amused grade-schooler I guess.

I knew someone who had a phone number where the last 4 digits spelled out ‘‘NUDE.’’ It was actually helpful in remembering his phone number.

Especially since the sign up period is through the end of the year - if you sign up now, all it gets you is being done with it. You don’t get insurance any sooner than January 1.

So, receiving a random number that spells nothing is poor planning now?

I agree it doesn’t mean much. But it is kind of funny. I’ve been reading some of the twitter suggestions for new numbers. Some are quite imaginative and suggest acts that are physically impossible to perform.

It’s a new gov program. We got to make fun of it for a little while.

You’ll be happy to hear then that it’s not “their insurance.” Everyone will still have private insurance which we all love so much currently.

Perfect timing! I’m just drinking some iced tea, so could I borrow that straw you grasped at?

Oh come on.

OMG aceplace57 this is the funniest thing I’ve read all year!! LULZ!!

Clearly, it’s impossible for the website to be crashing due to too much traffic.

After all, nobody wants Obamacare. Right?

That’s your excuse? This is pathetic.

I wasn’t attacking Obamacare. Lots of people are having a harmless chuckle at the Obamacare phone gaffe. It’s all over twitter and other social media.

I needed a laugh today. It’s been a long week and the weekend is still 6 hours away. I thought others might enjoy this too.

What a compliment this was!

This is a self-negating sentence.

That it’s all over Twitter proves nothing. Everything is all over Twitter. And the only press mention you found was in the Unification Church-owned UPI.

And I am laughing, but not at the story.

I’m no fan of Obamacare, but this really was just intended as a joke thread. Any big gov program will have startup glitches.

Somebody goofed with this phone number. Any number published to millions of people should be checked first for any embarrassing words that can be created with the letters. This has been fertile joke material for 75 years. Anyone in communications or public relations knows that.

This is the best argument that’s ever been made against Obamacare.
