From this article that says the estimated cost of the wars in Iraq and Afganistan will be $570 Billion by the year 2010.

Google says population of Iraq is 26,074,906
Google says population of Afafanistan is 29,928,987

Total = 56,003,893

Divide that total into the $570 Billion it works out to cost $10,178.86 for each and every single man, woman and child in both countries.

Just my fun with math today.

Pah, that’s nothing. The war is costing us $18,387,096,774.20 per point the Dallas Cowboys scored in Superbowl XIII. That’s a lot of money!

Seriously, I’m not a fan of the Iraq war, or of President W in general. But let’s stick to actually meaningful statistics, ok?
