Absolutely. It has stayed excellent. Personally, I haven’t even noticed a slowdown in new threads and posts.
I spend a lot of time here, probably too much time, so in my mind it’s debatable. As far as bang per buck, it’s was very well worth it. As far as being one of the factors preventing me from having a real live, it might be doing me damage, so maybe I shouldn’t have paid.

Also, upon reflection, just one hug from RTFirefly is worth at least the cost of admission, and I’ve gotten several of those in the past year! Seriously, how many of you have been hugged by this guy? He’s one of them thar world class huggers! 
The SDMB is greatest forum on the net, and certainly worth it. (And that’s all I have to say about that)
Yes, it was worth my money. I enjoy the time I spend on the dope, and even at full price it comes to less than 4 cents a day.

It’s definately worth it. I get a lot more out of it for five bucks then the fifteen I spent on Scientific American and reading this doesn’t require going to check my mail in the most evil mail box ever.

. Seriously, the $4.95 price tag was a one-time-only offer for those of us who were already registered when the boards went to pay. We’ll have to pay more next year, although if we don’t let our registration lapse, we’ll be able to sign up for half price. I don’t really understand it myself, but I guess it’s a way of hanging on to the faithful posters who’ve been around for a long time (some of them left anyway). But really, I wouldn’t bat an eyelash at paying $14.95, either. I mean, it’s still only a little over a buck a month. I spend more on gumballs for my 4-year-old.
