“What else should I say?”
Then;
“Everyone is gay?” spoken as a question. (Is that what I should say?)
He’s married “in the sun”. (in public)
But “burried”.
“All alone is all we are”, him and what’s-her-name.
Why did he kill himself?
Peace,

He was not openly gay (he may have identified as bisexual at some point but I don’t know if that was an “actual” orientation or if he was one of those “everyone is bisexual therefor I am bisexual” things). I recall reading at least one interview with him in The Advocate in which he talked about how while he was growing up he was attacked as a “fag” because he was interested in art and music.
I remember rumors that he had some homosexual experiences, and could have possibly been bi, but I obviously don’t know for sure.
Also, if he wasn’t gay before, I think waking up with Courtney every morning probably didn’t do wonders for his heterosexuality.
Well, I’d like to imagine that even if I were straight, I’d have enough taste and self-respect to find Courtney Love eminently unfuckable.
To give my opinion to the question in the OP, however, I would say he was, if anything, bisexual. However, I don’t really think that had anything to do with his suicide. Depression and addiction (possibly the most vicious cycle on earth) most likely fed each other to the point that he simply couldn’t take it anymore.
To be fair, I think she was less repulsive 10-12 years ago. She couldn’t have been more repulsive, anyway, and he was also on a lot of drugs. Anyhow I think we’ve settled the gay question.
Courtney Love was never a supermodel, but she wasn’t always the walking train wreck that she is now. That’s the drugs. Kurt Cobain was a heavy drug user, too, and this probably played a part in his suicide.
Courtney’s very masculine, though. I know I’m more attracted to boyish kind of women, and for that reason I’d class myself around 7.5 on the heterosexuality scale.
I recall reading an interview in which Courtney Love said Kurt often expressed an interest in trying sex with a man, but never actually went throughg with it.
She says she actually ENCOURAGED him to give it a try with his bisexual pal Michael Stipe, but that Kurt never followed through.
Sexually confused was my take after reading Heavier Than Heaven by Charles Cross. I think Kurt really did love Courtney but realized probably that she didn’t love him back. Heart Shaped Box is a song about just that, a Heart Shaped Box that courtney gave him when they were first seeing each other.
