Wasn't there supposed to be a plan in the first 30 days to defeat ISIS? So where's the plan?

Of course it was all bullshit. But Trump did promise that he’d convene his generals first thing after being inaugurated, and have them come up with a plan in 30 days to defeat ISIS.

You see, that’s what went wrong, according to the Trumpists: Obama just never bothered to ask the generals for a plan. But what would you expect out of a Kenyan Muslim, anyway?

(Of course, in reality, Obama’s plan is working just fine, and ISIS, on the verge of giving up the notion of holding physical territory, is planning for a virtual caliphate.)

But according to my calendar, this is Day 38 of the Trump Administration. So where’s the plan? Maybe the dog ate his homework.

No, no, you see, you misunderstood.

The plan was to defeat ISIS in 30 days, not that the plan would be ready in 30 days.

Once the plan goes into effect, then the clock starts.

And I’m sure that plan will be coming along any day now…

You might want to thank the Syrians, Russians and the Kurds as well.

Plus the plan is secret. You were told this. And it worked. ISIS is defeated. You can already see how the terrorism jobs are being reclaimed by white American males.

A bit late, but it’s coming.

This is pretty good.

Trump isn’t that good at the whole “planning” thing. For example, Trump on healthcare: Boy, that’s complicated. Who knew?

President Trump said Monday that “nobody knew that healthcare could be so complicated,” as Republicans have been slow to unite around a replacement plan for ObamaCare.
“I have to tell you, it’s an unbelievably complex subject,” Trump said after a meeting with conservative governors at the White House.

“nobody knew that healthcare could be so complicated,”

What a fucking moron.

To which almost every single person in the audience rolled their eyes and said “Well, duh!” under their breaths.

The first step of Trump’s plan to defeat ISIS is re-taking Mosul. That he deftly maneuvered the government of Iraq and the Obama administration into moving on his agenda before he was even elected is proof that his power transcends the mundane restraints of time and space.

Nice link. Mind giving us a hint about what it contains?

“The Pentagon has sent the White House the expected preliminary options for accelerating the fight against ISIS that President Donald Trump ordered 30 days ago, according to a US official.”

That’s not at all what he promised us though, is it?

Brilliant!

What an amazing President we have!

IOW, none of his yes-men were willing to tell him how complicated health care was, until they absolutely had to.

Poor Trump: why does everything have to be so complicated? Well dude, you wanted the world’s most difficult job so badly that you made all sorts of bullshit, impossible-to-fulfill promises in order to win it. Now you’ve got it, and it’s still the world’s most difficult job, and you’re still a fuckup whose only skill, self-promotion, is now pretty much useless. Have fun.

We’re talking about a guy who, decades later, still hasn’t come to terms with male pattern baldness. The instructions for making ice cubes might be too complicated for this fuckhead.

What do you think his campaign promise was?

I don’t expect he’s going to tell us what his plan is. Remember his other campaign promise, or at least his major criticism of Obama? Announcing to the enemy what we were planning to do in advance. Seems to me he’s pretty much on track for getting his plan from the generals. If it’s a few days late, that seems like a petty complaint.

I’m looking forward to the Iraqis re-taking Mosul before the generals give him the plan.

Putin already did it.

It’s not the criticisms of Obama we can’t remember.

Trump had plenty of them - most of which were conclusion are in the extreme and never backed up with any details.

He has no ISIS plan - the guy doesn’t even understand how the government, science, the courts, technology - or basically anything else works.

Sure claim that China is devaluing their currency - why - well he heard it on TV one time - they aren’t now - and have been doing the exact OPPOSIT for years.

He has no plan - and not telling them “the plan” isn’t gonna matter.

Our plan has been basically bomb the shit out of them. They don’t need to be told that by us to tell that is what is happening.

He’s all smoke and mirrors - and has been his entire life. We will never be sure about ANYTHING he tells us - cause he lies about stuff that we either have on tape - or is easily fact checked. If a guy will lie about his margin of victory and the weather on Inauguration Day, when both of those are easily disproved - we really should t hold our breath in expecting any accurate facts out there.

Hopefully the news media is realizing this and won’t handle their administration with kid gloves on fears of losing access. Access to propaganda isn’t real access.

ISIS and the Middle East are complicated issues that Trump is incapable of understanding on a meaningful level.
