For some reason I can’t link to the article in the San Jose Merc yesterday, but it was this (from an AP story by Robert Burns (hah!) and Lolita Baldor):
Pentagon chief offers plan beat Islamic State
Defense Secretary Jim Mattis on Monday gave the WH a plan to “rapidly defeat” the Islamic State group, a Pentagon spokesman said.
The article goes on to say that this was in response to an EO issued by Trump on Jan 28. Note the 30-day interval.
Now, I will be happy to line up with folks and wonder how realistic this plan is, but there is a plan, and it was submitted on time. That is all.
I don’t know about the beginning or middle, but I bet the last step is “PROFIT!!!”
