I was driving north on 301 between Bel Alton and LaPlata, Md. On the right side of the road is a BBQ joint, and they have one of those lighted portable signs beside the highway. It proclaims, in this order:

Clean Restrooms Great BarBeQue **
Yep, when I’m looking for great BBQ, I wanna know about the restrooms first.

Surely others have seen similarly, um, unique advertisements?? Do share.

The Strip joint that used to be up on 301 in Waldorf (south of Hall’s Bakery aka the wigwam, I can’t believe I can’t remember the name of that place) used to have a sign that read “Buck Naked Girls” I always thought that was such a hoot.

I know Hall’s, but I don’t recall the strip joint - how long ago was that?
