I was sure shocked when I came across the notice of Wayman Tisdale’s passing.
He was only 44 and died of cancer. He even had a leg amputated because of it.
Wayman was not only a top-notch basketball player (college, pro and Olympic), but he was one of my favourite musicians in the smooth jazz genre.
He was a left-handed bassist also.
I’ll sure miss him!
