Today was the last Wayne Brady show. Is anyone else P.O.'d that he was cancelled? He won two emmys in his first season, he won an emmy this year, too. He was funny, talented and uncontroversial. Why was he cancelled?
He didn’t always have the big name guests, but he made everyone more interesting. He made every little weak bit more fun and his tribute songs were great.
I don’t know if he ran in the same time slot everywhere, here he was opposite Ellen. She’s okay, but not better than Wayne, I doubt everyone was watching her. I only watched her when the local station preempted Wayne. Frankly, her stuttery, “can’t find the words” bit gets on my nerves after a while.
My only consolation is that Wayne is so talented, I’m sure he’ll be around for a long time. Oh well, maybe I’ll manage to get to work before 11am now.
