“Damn, I’m good-looking!”
Well, Democrats offer help, Republicans offers fantasy that one day the voter will be rich enough not to need help and some icky people are getting help they don’t deserve.
“I feel pretty! Oh, so pretty! I feel pretty and witty and heteronormative!”
This is one of those things where he who laughs last laughs loudest. i promise you, before the 4 years is up, Trump will have fucked everything he touched up. I also promise you that you’ll be too fucking stupid to see it.
“Failure Is Success!”
Someone has started to collect voices of Trump supporters complaints into an entertaining Tumbler.
So it looks like the best way to irritate Trump supporters is to be Donald J. Trump.
If I were a Democrat I’d stay in my apartment and seethe for 4 years. I’d sit by the window and every time I saw a Trump supporter I’d shake my fist and look very very cross.
That’ll teach them to mess with liberals!
Well, you could, but a more productive approach would include making sure to vote in the 2018 midterms.
I suppose kidnapping their children and mailing their ears back via registered mail would be out of the question.
On car trips, keep saying…
“Is America great again yet?”
“Is America great again yet?”
“Is America great again yet?”
etc.
“So help me God, I will turn this election around and go back!”
Clinton’s campaign manager
So she once again ‘misspoke’?
It seems that her misspeakings often take the form of several paragraphs. Perhaps she should see a doctor about that.
Frankly, given the number of times she flubs things up and shows poor judgement (like this, or the ‘vast right wing conspiracy’, or the private server) and the fact that even among her own team she apparently has a reputation for poor instincts, and given her well-known temper and the way she apparently fell apart election night, I’m thinking that we may have dodged a major bullet by her not being elected. For all we know she could have been the real danger when it comes to the nuclear briefcase.
Hahahaha. Gosh, a promise from Morgenstern is just like getting a Hallmark card. But doesn’t seem very irritating. Thanks for playing.
(post shortened)
And how is that supposed to be irritating to Trump supporters? You might think that Samantha “Bee bitter”, and John “these are the best jokes I got, folks” Oliver are funny. I think they’re a “little funny”, you know, as in not-quite-right-in-the-head. They’re not irritating to Trump supporters, either. But keep up the good work. :thumbs up:
They’re certainly not funny the way Conservative comedians are!
And meanwhile Trump isn’t president but he’s already causing international incidents.
The basket of deplorables was a terrible election strategy. It’s also completely fucking true. There’s a really large number of Trump supporters who fall into the category of hateful xenophobes, misogynists, homophobes, et cetera, and all the rest of the Trump supporters were willing to look past those attitudes. The “vast right-wing conspiracy” is not poor judgment, it’s absolutely correct judgment. Tearing down the Clintons is a cottage industry with quite a lot of work put into it; if you can’t admit to that now, then you’re just not paying attention.
And while the email server was poor judgment, the comparison between that and, oh, say, Trump’s lack of understanding on Mosul and Aleppo - or just pick a random fucking thing on Trump’s twitter feed; it’s not like we haven’t had over a fucking year of this guy shooting his mouth off and demonstrating over and over again how fucking clueless he is - displays this as pretty absurd, even if you take your statements as given, which I do not.
Out of curiosity: it occurs to me that whoever the Dems run in 2020 will presumably get read that quote in full – “deplorables” this, “irredeemable” that – and asked, so, is that how you feel about those who say they’re looking to re-elect Trump?
How do you think the candidate should answer?
doorhinge and other idiots will be blaming Obama for Trump’s failures.
This is not remotely true, outside the ridiculously exaggerated way people like you take it upon yourselves to define hate, xenophobia, misogyny, homophobia, et cetera. Some people like the ones you describe exist among Trump’s supporters to be sure, but in number they’re far from a significant number. However the fact is that being labeled a hater, a xenophobe, a misogynist, a homophobe, et cetera by people like you means nothing more than not being fully on board with the liberal position on these issues. Here, let me translate for you:
doubt, skepticism, disapproval = hate
support for legal immigration/opposition to immigration of groups containing terrorists = xenophobia
anything a SJW thinks a woman somewhere might not like = misogyny
anything a SJW thinks a black person somewhere might not like = racism
Yada, yada, yada. In your attempts to bully people into accepting liberalism, you people have so ridiculously overused and wrongfully used these words that they’ve lost all meaning to anyone but yourselves and have served only to drive half the country into your enemy’s camp - including surprisingly large percentages of the very people you’re taking it upon yourselves to joust for. Good job.
