lieu, though I’m more lurker than poster, I always look for your posts. I am truly sorry for what you and your family are going through. You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope that you can find one modicum of strength to pull you through these circumstances. Based on the number of times you have made me literally laugh out loud, you deserve the very best outcome. Please keep us posted if you can.
Admittedly, I had a bit of difficulty keeping a dry eye a little while ago as I read through the thoughtful sentiments expressed here. Y’all are the best. Thanks so much for your concern and good wishes.
We’ve spent the last several days pursuing a quick analysis of my wife’s condition. Fortunately, she’s in the medical industry and we’re in a place where the facilities are second to none.
The specialists at first were not very optimistic but we’ve had additional tests and biopsies performed and now they’re much more upbeat that she’ll come out of this okay. We won’t know for sure until tomorrow or the next day but there’s a good chance the tumor is benign. A delicate surgery will be required regardless but it could have been so much worse.
Right now we’re encouraged about the likely prognosis. A special thanks for all your kind thoughts. Bless you all.
Wonderful news, lieu. I’m very relieved for you and your family. And go ahead and cry your eyes out. I’d say you’re more than entitled.
I just came across this but add me to the list of good thoughts and prayers.
Hang in there. And don’t be afraid to let your daughter see you cry…kids need to know that sometimes even adults are scared and it’s okay.
Here’s hoping that soon down the road this is all behind you and that you are telling us about a new baby Lieu on the way.

Oh lieu, that is great news. I know there are still concerns and I’m still sending plenty of prayers and good wishes, but it sounds like there’s much hope for a full recovery. Praying for a benign tumor, a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Strength, courage and hope to you both.

Great news for you guys! I’m glad things are looking up. Once you get the “all clear”, I’m sure the hospital will be fodder for future “Lieu-la-Poo-looza” stories. We’ll be waiting…
