We got 55cm of snow last night...

AND NOW I CAN’T GET OUT OF MY FRIGGIN HOUSE!!!

If anyone feels like swinging by with, i dunno, some food, blankets, a helicopter to get me out of here with (California sounds nice…) feel FREE to do so.

Anytime.

Even right now, i dont mind.

I’ve got booze in the basement.

Lots and lots of booze.

Upham

I feel for you my brother. We are buried under it as well.

But now, after several days of varying temperatures, it has finally reached perfect packing consistency.

And so, at dusk, I built a giant penis in the back yard, out of snow. It has eyes and feet.

I was going to put on arms, but the dog will just pull them out immediately, that’s how I ended up with a Penis shaped snowman.

That’s a lot of snow! Here…(Edmonton, Alberta) our average snowfall is 55cm! This year… I can still see the brown grass and the roads are dry! (Except for the side roads which some are pretty bad)

I’ll come rescue you! What kind of booze we gonna drink? Hot buttered rums…? Blueberry tea?

Vodka, Rum (spiced, white and black), wine, beer, what ever, just get me outta here!!

I don’t want to depress you, but over the weekend, the fields have turned from brown earth to green plants…some of them look like strange green corduroy due to the plough ridges as you drive past. I guess that’s what a few days of mild weather wothout floods will do for you…

How much is 55cm? In inches? Besides a whole freakin’ lot, I mean.

We’re still buried here in Michigan. Since the 12th of December, we’ve gotten somewhere around 40 inches, I think. Maybe more. I’ve lost track.

Somebody decided to plow my street a day or so ago. My car is currently stuck in a snowbank at the end of my driveway. I’m just sitting here waiting on AAA to come pull me out, so I can go to work. Sigh. At least I can bring the receipt from AAA and get paid for this, and it won’t be considered a late occasion.

55 cm is about 1/2 meter. A meter is roughly 1 yard [three feet].

So 1.5 feet of snow.
