I am getting back just under $700 and it is all going into the moving fund. I am waiting on the refund as we speak. I don’t know what I would do if I had to pay the government 10k! They might have to get it out of my estate after I passed away from the shock of doing my taxes!
They’re done, but I’m not writing that check until I have to. Less than we were dreading, but no refund for this household. 
That reminds me, I have to do that this week. I’m hoping for 100% return this year since I grossed less than $5k. C’mon big refund! No whammies no whammies! Yeah!!!

You really don’t have to wait until they get mailed to you. For example with Vanguard, they post their 1099’s and such online via a PDF… Just make sure that’s it’s not some sort of statement, and that it is infact a tax form.
I hope my last W-2 has arrived by now. It took them forever last year, so Im not surprised that its Feb 17th and its not here yet.
Im getting all my money back this year, so I want it to come soon!!
We got our federal refund yesterday and are waiting for our state refund. Said refund is paying for the replacement of the laptop that was stolen last month.
Having tax-free military pay, student deductions and a kid make a big difference.

Thanks for reminding me, we got our refund deposited yesterday, oh yeah! Thanks to my inability to judge what our witholding was supposed to be, we got about $5k back.
I feel bad that I let the Feds hold on to so much of my money, but good that I’ll have money I didn’t really expect to have, for saving and home improvements.
I got my W-2s back early, and have had my refund for weeks now.
Bought a new computer on Feb 1, with Windows Vista and a 19-inch LCD monitor, and it is nice. My previous computers have been an el cheapo Emachine and then an old hand-me-down Dell, so I’m really digging this new one. Then I upgraded my webcam and printer also.
The other day I bought an ipod, and that is really, really neato.
Suddenly I am so technological!
