We got'sch a new puppy!

Another Samoyed for the Samoyed family!

This one is named Journey, and he’s an eight-week-old stud puppy who will eventually, if all things go well, be bred to my landlady’s three female dogs. For now, his job is to grow up and learn, and keep being cute, and try to stay out of trouble.

::SQUEEE!:: and some stuff because Discourse doesn’t approve of a single squeee. Okay, then, happy to add another: ::SQUEEE!::

Awwww!

Awww, fwufferpup! So kyoot!

FURBALL ALERT!!

I wonder whose idea it was to have a belly scratch administered?

And, apparently, to get his belly patted.

I suspect he’s in favor of this plan.

What a cutie!

Journey is a trip!

Adorbs!

Growing up, my neighbors had sequential Samoyeds. The first one was trained well and very obedient. But the hair. :astonished:

Awww, I just wanna boop that nose.

The dog is cute, too.

mmm

Poor kiddo. It was his first night away from his siblings, in a strange new place, and he was borking all night. He should be fine in a couple of days, though.

Bork,bork,bork!

Cute pup!

Congratulations! He’s beautiful. I love the name.

Oh enjoy His Royal Puppiness! I heart Samoyeds.

Yes, this is a blatant hijack. Just a quick update about Scout, my new doberman puppy. After a week, he’s settling in very well - will quietly lay on the bed with the other dogs, sits and downs on command (most of the time). Recall is good. He has his moments where he annoys the adult dogs, but for the most part, things are settling down. Has chewed on a few things he shouldn’t, but if I watch him, he’s easily diverted. If the big dogs run out to bark at something, he joins the pack. He’s still under close observation, but I’m not as worried about him.

My landlady had inpatient surgery today; she’s expected to come home tomorrow. This leaves Journey in our care for about 24-36 hours.

Here’s a couple of pictures from the first time I walked him today. He peed a little, and then spent the rest of the time rolling around in the grass.

He dared to expose that belly to me, so of course, I had to step on him to teach him a lesson.

May all be well for your landlady. That pup is so darn cute.

My landlady is back and finds sitting down to be very difficult, but by all lights the surgery went very well, and hopefully she’ll make a full recovery. Thank you, @carnut .
