Actually, a ten week old kitten named “Spicy Tuna Roll”, picked while the ladies were visiting the Humane Society this afternoon after I went to work. Now all I have to do is convince them that she should be called “Macki” for short. I will of course teach her she shouldn’t do anything…she can’t get away with.
Congrats! Any pics?
Not yet. I haven’t even met her yet, although I have seen a photo of her from the Oregon Humane Society website.
Aw, what about “Unagi” for a name?
I think “Macki” is a good short way to say her original moniker.
“Macki” sounds like the name of a mackerel tabby - is that her coat pattern?
It is short for “Makizushi”.
Thats so cute..I think I would spell it Maki, tho’.
I’m so happy you’ve re-entered the cat slave world.
Keep us posted on a her cute kitten begavior. You gotta know peeps love that.
Teach her well. Or learn to be the student.
Congratulation on being had by a cat!
It is a good thing cats can’t spell, right?
This cat will be good for your healing process. Congrats on your new family member!
You never can tell.
We took your advice, and we are calling her “Maki”. She spent the night cuddled next to me, with occasional breaks to eat, drink and play with her new toys.
But still NO PICTURES !

How is this? And, yes, she definitely knows how to pose for the camera.
Awwwwww…
Kitty kitty kitty kitty kitten!
Clearly feeling entirely at home already. Very confident kit you’ve got there. (Very good home you’ve got there, Maki.)
Think she’ll grow into those ears?
Ooh, she’s adorable.
I spell the food “maki”, so i like that for a name.
Congrats on the kitty.
Cute !
